Charms

diablo 2 charmsDiablo 2 Charms are special items that grant their magical bonuses simply by including them in your inventory. However, they do not provide their bonuses if you place them in your stash or inside your Horadric Cube (even if the Cube is in your inventory).

There are only Magic and Unique Charms. This means there are no Set, Rare or Crafted Charms. Also, they come in 3 different sizes: Small, Large and Grand Charms.

Small Charms are better because they require less space in your inventory. Some Magic Suffixes and Prefixes can only be found on the larger Charms though. In addition, their artwork is not relevant to their stats

If you fill your entire inventory with Charms, you will not be able to pick up any more items. Therefore, it seems better to keep only the best Charms and discard the less powerful ones. This way you will have some space to loot one or two large items.

Furthermore, you can store in your stash Life and Resistances Charms in order to use them for fighting a difficult Boss.
